Not easy, as claimed (i also missed the fun but maybe thats just me). Technical UI, repeated need to Log in, no sharing of maps on Facebook,...

Cant view your map on the app. And then the map in the desktop version wont connect the dots between cities in Asia after flying over from North America. Good thing its free.

現在旅中で、一年間以上使っています。 ところが、最近新しい場所をアップロードできません。原因不明。 昨年末から何度も問い合わせメールをしていますが、音沙汰がなく、もう使うのやめようかと思っているところです。 新しい場所に着くと必ず更新していて、自分の足跡が簡単に残せるのは楽しかったのですが、残念です。 I cant upload new place in my map. I sent message to the stuff over and over again. But they dont reply to me. Im going to stop using this app.

This only takes you to the webpage. I can use safari for that and not waist space. Dont bother.

There are so many issues with this application that I simply had to post a review for the sake of others. Here are some highlights: - Sign in problems - Unable to change your default location - No toggle for location services - Terrible social integration that forces you to their website instead of showing the maps youve made I could go on... But I honestly challenge you to play with this app for more than 5 minutes before uninstalling.

Even if it is only 99 cents, this app is an absolute rip off. All it does is route you to triplines mobile website. Not sure why you would want to spend a a buck to get there when u can get to it or free! Great website and idea, but horrible app!

Why doesnt the app allow you to share a trip?

You cant access the app if you log in to the site through Facebook? Lame. Build in the authentication to work with mobile.

Its almost primitive how simple it is. You just log in places that you want to go and it shows you a list. Its not worth your time or data. What annoys me is that you cant enlarge the map with the lines that connect where youre going. This app could be way cooler than it is. You can add photos to the places youre going, but who is going to go dig for photos and then add it manually? It should look for photos near your destinations. You should be able to drop pins and adjust them on the map.

I love triplines main website, but this app always feels way too limited. Its nice that you can easily add to existing lists or create new ones, but there isnt much else you can do. For instance why cant you look at the maps youve made up close? There are the thumbnails on the main list but thats it. Its weird that you cant look at your map after youve selected a map to look at. Basically, tripline offers a great service, that I havent found anywhere else. I love using it to plan out itineraries and save trip ideas. But this app is in major need of an overhaul and feature expansion to bring it up to par with the main website. As of right now its too simplistic, but there is definitely lots of potential.

Used to be good..but taking that animated maps out was a blunder. Should have kept both the versions. When you know every one loves that, no point taking it out..

I love the idea of this app. Build a trip route (via car, plane, foot, or waypoints), add photos & comments, and share it. Viewing can be done on the web - no app necessary! Great so far. But … editing an existing trip is awfully buggy. Stops can’t be reordered via the app. Trying to do so results in random changes to stop sequence and the route map. Once it’s messed up, it can only be fixed via Tripline’s (apparently not buggy) website, and on a computer, not an iOS device. That’s a big problem. So … until the developer resolves that issue, I’d steer clear of the app.

The best app that saves your triplines that I’ve ever tried so far! I wish I knew this app since a long time!

I loved this mapping app for all the future trips I had in mind. But now I go to open it and it immediately shuts down. This is where I saved my trip ideas & I’m not looking forward to trying to remember the places I listed all over again. Hopefully there is an update to fix this!

an absolute waste of time

Every time I try to open the app it says I need an internet connection or cellular service to open it, then goes to a Facebook error page. The whole time my phone was connected to internet. I guess I’ll just have to use the website instead.

It may be good for adding new trips but I haven’t taken any trips since version 2 came out. My previous trip plays perfectly now where before I had to go the desktop site to see animation and scroll through the pictures.

Just installed it, but looks promising!

Best way to save all the places I’ve been. I add notes and pics as I check in, and at the end of each trip, I have a travel journal that I can share with family and friends.

Impossible to use. Cant change dates and times. Can't adjust much. DELETE!
